Planning Your Wedding Day - Choosing A Theme
One of the most important decisions to be made about your wedding day is whether or not you are going to have a theme for your big day.
Are you going for
- one, two or three colour scheme?
- a simple wedding or a big fancy day?
- a 50's style wedding?
- a medieval style wedding?
- an Elvis style wedding?
Whatever you decide you must choose your theme and stick to it!
It is all too easy to be swayed by all the gorgeous wedding dresses, favours and beautiful designs there are out there and oh so difficult to change when you have made most of the arrangements.
For example: the DJ - you have decided on a medieval theme. You have bought the beautiful medieval style dress, arranged an appropriate venue, menu, flowers and decorations. All that is left is to arrange the DJ and the music. You want some appropriately medieval style music for the big moment. Have you checked that the DJ can supply music of the type you are looking for? Is he willing to play what you want (not what he prefers or thinks is better!) Modern music would be out of place with your theme and could ruin your day. Equally for example, at an Elvis style wedding 'Love Me Tender' would be the perfect choice but not an outrageous punk rock song. So you can see that choosing the right DJ for your wedding day can make all the difference to your perfect day.
